First the released in 1988, the D-10 is a Linear Arithmetic synthesis keyboard that combines sampled attack transients with digitally generated sustain waveforms to create punchy, detailed sounds while keeping polyphony high. Designed as an all-in-one performance and production instrument, it pairs its synth engine with a built-in rhythm section, multitimbral operation, onboard pattern programming, and memory card expansion. With 32-voice polyphony, editable tones and patches, and integrated drum patterns, the D-10 was aimed at players needing a compact workstation-style keyboard for live use or small studio setups, complete with MIDI connectivity and a simple two-line back-lit display for editing and navigation.
