Unique custom shop Journeyman Strat featuring Alder body in a two-piece “body spread” construction, finished in black lacquer with an aged treatment and light relic wear. It features a maple neck with a maple fretboard, a late-60s style “U” neck shape, 9.5" radius, 21 narrow tall frets, 1.650" nut width, and a 25.5" scale length, with a bone nut and micarta black side dots and face dots.
The guitar uses a 4-bolt neck joint and a large ’60s headstock, finished in nitrocellulose lacquer with a lightly tinted neck and relic treatment. Electronics are vintage-style Strat wiring with a 5-way switch, three single-coil pickups (hand-wound ’69 Strat in the neck, Fat ’50s in the middle, and Texas Special in the bridge), and 250k pots.
Hardware includes a vintage-style tremolo bridge with bent steel saddles, Schaller vintage tuners, chrome/nickel hardware, white pickguard, and an engraved Custom Shop neck plate.
Includes original Fender Custom Shop hard shell case made in USA by G&G, bridge cover, documentation with leather Custom Shop wallet, tremolo arm, care guide (sealed), spare tremolo springs, leather Custom Shop strap, Fender 2022 Custom Design book, extra black pickguard.
