The FZ-III was sold under several names, including Jen, FBT and Rickens, and was made in Italy in the early 1970s. It runs on a trio of silicon transistors (two BC239Cs and one BC238B) and delivers a bright, lively fuzz with singing sustain and a crisp, chimey edge. It’s especially responsive to your guitar’s volume and tone controls, letting you move from relatively tame to completely unhinged without touching the pedal. This example is in remarkably good condition for its age and makes a great addition to any serious fuzz collection.
Made in beautiful Pescara, Italy.
Features new footswitch & battery clip.
