Two ultra-quiet mic/line preamps with generous gain, dedicated line and instrument inputs, four monitor-grade outputs, and two powerful headphone amps form the heart of the unit, all tied together with Neumann’s reference-level AD/DA architecture.
The onboard DSP handles detailed monitor mixes complete with fully parametric EQ, gating, compression, limiting, and a studio-quality reverb. You can shape up to four individual mixes directly from the touchscreen, while expansion options include ADAT, S/PDIF, MIDI, and network audio via AES67 with Dante readiness. Dual driver paths per input allow clean pre-FX capture alongside processed signals, making the MT 48 a flexible centrepiece for modern production setups.
