In order for the Bard Quartet to communicate with the Bard Quartet Expand, a new firmware (v1.1) is necessary. The Bard Quartet with batch number A12 or higher is shipped with this new firmware. Shakmat Modular offers its own serial programmer with a detailed user manual to reduce the risk of misconnections and potential support problems.
