The Roland XP-80 is a flagship 1990s digital workstation that combines a 76-note semi-weighted keyboard with deep synthesis, sequencing, and master controller duties. Built around Roland’s JV-series sound engine, it delivers 64-voice polyphony, 16-part multitimbrality, and a polished PCM sound set focused on realistic instruments as well as classic digital synth textures. A large backlit display keeps editing and sequencing clear, while the onboard MRC Pro sequencer offers serious song and pattern creation tools. Expandability is a major draw, with slots for up to four SR-JV80 expansion boards covering orchestral, vintage synth, techno, world, and rhythm libraries. With high-quality effects, hands-on sliders, arpeggiator, and strong MIDI control, the XP-80 works equally well as an all-in-one workstation or the centrepiece of a larger MIDI rig.
Includes 10 x Discs and power cable (Figure 8). 240v. Does not include expansion boards & has been factory reset.
