The DM Pro is a professional 20-bit expandable drum module built for serious electronic drummers and MIDI composers. It delivers 64-voice polyphony and a deep library of over 1,000 drum, percussion and effects sounds, covering everything from acoustic kits to electronic and experimental textures. Up to 32 user drum kits can be created and stored, with each kit holding as many as 64 assigned sounds for fast access in performance or production.
Sixteen trigger inputs support electronic pads or triggered acoustic drums, while six discrete audio outputs make it easy to mix and process individual sounds externally. Onboard multieffects are powered by the same engine used in the Alesis Q20, adding studio-grade processing without extra gear. A PCMCIA expansion slot allows additional sound cards to be loaded, with up to 24 MB of samples accessible at once, and Sound Bridge software support lets users load their own custom samples. Stereo RCA inputs allow external audio sources to be monitored through the unit, making the DM Pro equally suited to live performance, studio work and practice setups.
