Klang is a 14HP chord progression module that generates four colour-coded voices, each displayed as a dial on the screen. You adjust each voice with its matching coloured knob, with push-and-turn allowing fine tuning between semitones. The number shown on each dial indicates the octave, automatically updating as you pass C while turning.
A large central browse knob selects chords within a sequence, with the display showing both the current chord index and total number of chords. A short press pauses progression so you can edit without incoming triggers advancing the sequence, while holding the knob enters tuning mode, temporarily setting all voices to middle C for oscillator calibration. Dedicated + and β buttons duplicate or remove chords within the progression.
Klang stores every adjustment instantly using long-life memory technology, so your settings remain exactly as you left them when powering back on. It responds to trigger or gate signals to step through chords, accepts bipolar CV for step direction and amount, provides reset and transpose inputs, and outputs four pitch CV signals ranging from -5V to +5V. Depth is 20mm, with low power consumption of approximately 23mA on +12V and under 2mA on -12V.
