The Intellijel Performance Case is the ultimate base for your portable, performative Eurorack system. This second-generation version builds on the features that made the first so popular amongst professionals and hobbyists alike.
The case has a module width of 104HP, with two rows of 3U rack space, and one row of 1U rack space, which can now be repositioned to the top, middle, or bottom row of the case.
The solid aluminium frame with ergonomic handle protects your modules from bumps and scratches while you’re out and about.
The included lid covers your modules, leaving plenty of room to keep your system patched and ready, while new recessed internal locking system makes it easy to securely attach and detach the lid.
The Performance Case gives you multiple options for ergonomic positioning within your workspace. The fold-away legs allow you to easily angle up your case for easier viewing on a desk. Or, you can attach the Performance Case to a stand/arm with a VESA mount - letting you get creative with positioning your system. Or, simply lay it down flat.
If you have two Performance cases, you can lock them together with the leg joiners (sold separately), for a massive 14U system. This is backwards compatible with the previous generation of 7U 104HP Performance Cases.
The Gen-2 Performance Case features more connectivity. Eight TRS ¼” jack connections give you plenty of options to connect to mixers, FX and other audio gear. Each jack socket has connection options for balanced mono, unbalanced stereo or send / return configurations. 5-pin MIDI In, Out and Thru also feature on this case - plus USB-C.
The second-generation Power Supply Board has also been beefed up from the original. This completely new design includes thirty-four shrouded power headers, and extra juice to accommodate as many modules as can fit in the case. Improved performance also means less noise across your system.

- Solid plastic carrying handle.
- Anodised aluminium lid with internal latching system, deep enough to close the case with cables patched in.
- Retractable glass-filled nylon legs that can support the case at two different angles. Or lay the case flat/upright on a table via the integrated plastic feet.
- Spring-loaded latching accessory slots on top and bottom of the case. The slots can be used to attach two cases using a pair of 7U Joiner Plates. (Backwards compatible with the previous generation of 7U cases)
Rear Panel
- Eight 1/4″ TRS audio I/O jacks with extensive connection options.
- MIDI In, Out, and Thru jacks.
- USB-C port that connects to the MIDI 1U and Metropolix Backpack.
- Rocker switch and 2.5mm barrel plug for power entry.
Please note: to reposition the 1U row to middle or bottom, some customers may require longer 6pin, 10pin and 3pin cables to connect to the rear case jacks/boards. We do not currently have these in stock but they are shipping to us soon and we will provide the details when we have them.
