The Lil Eight is an eight track trigger sequencer built around the core workflow of a classic drum machine. All primary functions are available directly from the front panel with no menus. It offers 16 patterns with up to 16 steps per pattern, external clock input, and eight trigger outputs for driving drums, modulation, or other gate based modules. Patterns can be programmed step by step, tapped in live with clock quantisation, randomised per track, or edited with track mute and fill functions for rolls and performance variation. Pattern chaining, pattern copy, adjustable pattern length, and non volatile memory are all included. With the optional MIDI adapter, each track can also output MIDI notes with individual channel, note, and accent control. Designed for straightforward sequencing and hands on performance in a Eurorack system.
