1979 Guild Starfire IV semi-hollowbody in Walnut. Features maple body and neck with bound rosewood board, 24 3/4″ scale & two Guild LB-1 humbucking pickups. All Schaller-made hardware including the iconic 'Harp' tailpiece as well as the highly adjustable, proprietary bridge.
With controls for volume & tone for each respective pickup and bonus master volume control at the bottom horn; these 1970s Guilds are truly sleeper instruments that are just as versatile & vibey as their contemporaries made in the Nashville plant by the other big 'G' - just at a fraction of the price.
As used by artists like Kim Thayil, Buddy Guy, Bob Weir & even Dave Davies of The Kinks (he had quite few..for good reason!).
Handcrafted in the Westerly (RI) factory, USA.
Includes original Guild-branded hard case.
