First year 1979 Tokai LS-120 in Faded Cherry finish with 1950s specs featuring a mahogany body, maple cap (not veneer) bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays All classic appointments with dual humbuckers and controls. This is the earliest Tokai Reborn model we've seen here in the shop & shows craftsmanship of a considerably higher quality to other Japanese Tokai Les Pauls and outperforms comparable Les Pauls from Gibson during this era.

Loaded with early 1960s Gibson bridge, replica lightweight aluminium stop bar & aged Grovers. Original DiMarzio's have been replaced with Gibson Burstbuckers. Original truss rod cover has been replaced with 1960s Gibson model.
A few dings and finish blemishes with some noticeable reactions from guitar case lining & one inlay crack however no break or damage to the guitar itself. Frets are in fantastic condition for age and neck is dead straight. One inlay slightly lifting.
A seriously good player.
