The VOX VTB-1 is a modern treble booster designed to capture the classic interaction between a vintage British booster and a pushed AC30 or AC15, without the instability of original germanium designs. It uses a carefully biased, hand-selected silicon transistor to recreate the smooth edge-of-breakup response, strong harmonic content, and excellent volume-knob cleanup associated with classic units.
