Friedman Smallbox Distortion Pedal

The Friedman Small Box Overdrive distils the feel and voicing of the Small Box all-tube amplifier into a compact pedal. It covers a wide gain range, from gritty Plexi-style drive and dirty boost tones through to saturated modern rock, with strong touch sensitivity and dynamic response.

A full EQ section plus a side-mounted Gain Structure switch lets you shift between lower-gain Plexi-style behaviour and higher-gain drive, making it equally comfortable pushing a clean amp or tightening an already driven one. True bypass, flexible power from 9–18V, and straightforward controls make it easy to integrate into a wide range of rigs.
