The Fortin HexDrive is a high-headroom boost and overdrive pedal designed to push an amp while preserving its natural character. At lower gain settings it functions as a clean boost, driving the front end without adding noticeable distortion. As the gain is increased, it introduces a focused midrange push and smooth overdrive rather than heavy saturation.
With higher output than a typical overdrive and a distinctive clipping character, the HexDrive sits between boost and OD, making it well suited for tightening, shaping, and enhancing high-gain or edge-of-breakup tones without muddying them.
