The V212HWRX is a hand-wired series 2x12 cabinet designed to pair with the VOX AC30 Hand-Wired head, built to closely match the construction and response of original 1960s AC30 cabinets. Research into vintage examples informed the use of a 12 mm birch ply cabinet, chosen for its lighter weight and more resonant, open sound compared to heavier modern builds.
The cabinet is loaded with two 12-inch Celestion Alnico Blue speakers, delivering the familiar chime, harmonic richness, and smooth compression that define the classic VOX sound. Finished with traditional diamond grille cloth and VOX badging, the V212HWRX stays visually and sonically true to its heritage while remaining practical for modern stage and studio use.
