The Type 7 Flex cable features a blue lead fitted with a straight 2-pin DIN plug. This connector style was commonly used on older loudspeakers, but in pedal applications it’s specific to a small group of Electro-Harmonix vacuum tube pedals designed to run on 12V AC.
The blue Type 7 Flex cable is intended for use with the following eight Electro-Harmonix pedals:

Each of these pedals draws under 800 mA and can be powered from a single 12V AC output on units such as the AC Rider, AC10, CIOKOLATE, or the now-discontinued AC8. All of these power supplies include the required blue Flex cable as standard.
