Released to mark Blackstar’s fifth anniversary, this cream-coloured 2x10 is a limited edition version of the HT-5R valve combo. It keeps the same 5-watt valve platform but adds distinctive anniversary cosmetics including cream covering, special grille cloth and a commemorative front panel, with each unit supplied with a certificate.
Built around a 1x ECC83 and 1x 12BH7 valve design, the HT-5TH uses Blackstar’s push-pull power amp and HT pedal-based preamp architecture. It offers two footswitchable channels, ISF tone shaping, digital stereo reverb, effects loop and a speaker-emulated output with selectable cabinet voicing. The 2x10 Celestion speaker setup gives it a bigger, more open sound than the standard combo, making it equally suited to home use, studio work and small sessions.
