The Cocoquantus 2 is a unique hybrid instrument from Ciat-Lonbarde that combines stereo 8-bit digital delays with a central analogue “chaos” engine. Built in rich timber casing and designed to accept piezo, mic (XLR) or synth inputs, it loops and mangles sound via discrete digital circuitry while the middle “Quantussy” section generates modulatory chaos both in audio and low-frequency domains. It’s aimed at exploratory musicians working in experimental, modular and ambient genres.

Some standout features:

  • Two independent digital delay modules, each with stereo inputs/outputs, discrete silicon implementation (no flash memory) for maximal unpredictability.

  • Central oscillator bank (Quantussy) that can run at audio-rate or LFO-rate to modulate delay parameters, clock speeds, skipping/flip-flip functions and more.

  • Touch-sensitive nodes, toggleable pre-filters (“Dolby” style) for feedback, and dedicated inputs for high-impedance piezo, mic or synth signals.

  • Stunning craft in walnut, sassafras, cherry woods, designed as both instrument and object. Because of its niche design and artisanal build it occupies a very special place: more modular instrument than conventional delay pedal. It can be used within modular rigs or as a standalone creative sound-design tool.

Includes US 12v Power Supply. 110-240v No patch / banana cables included.
