The FGX5 pairs a solid Sitka Spruce top, treated with Yamaha’s Acoustic Resonance Enhancement process, with solid Mahogany back and sides for a rich, aged tone and lasting sustain. Updated scalloped bracing boosts volume and projection, while the innovative Atmosfeel three-way pickup system delivers a remarkably natural amplified sound. Made in Japan, the FGX5 features a Traditional Western body shape, a punchy low end ideal for strumming and flatpicking, and comes with a case. Finished in Vintage Natural Gloss.
