1970s Gibson SG Standard in extremely rare lefthanded configuration & early Walnut finish.
Featuring a very slim profiled, post-1965 neck (yet medium-D shaped from 5th fret onwards), with a bound rosewood fingerboard (original frets with 70-80% life left), trapezoid inlays, asymmetrical horns, Maestro long-Vibrola tailpiece with walrus tooth cap, witch hat knobs and original T-Top pickups.
Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA.
Includes original Gibson hard shell case with yellow lining.
In excellent condition with only some small signs of use and wear (namely the headstock lacquer has faded significantly more than the original finish on the body).
Pots are dated 1971 however serial number and body shape signifies a possible earlier build date. One thing to note is the broad headstock & heel join (pre-1965 specs) yet the skinnier nut and very slim neck which would indicate post-1965. No bevels on front of horns but also no volute.
Weighing in at 7.89lbs (3.580kg).
