The Roland G-707 is a unique MIDI guitar synthesizer controller, introduced in the mid-1980s as part of Roland's G-Series. Its futuristic design features a distinctive, stabilizing bar that extends from the body to the neck, aimed at reducing interference and improving tracking accuracy by controlling neck vibration. This feature makes it visually memorable and functional for stage performance.

The G-707, paired with the Roland GR-700 synth module, allows guitarists to access synthesized sounds. It uses pitch-to-MIDI conversion, meaning the player's notes on the guitar are converted into MIDI data, which can then trigger synth sounds. However, the tracking (how quickly and accurately it detects pitch changes) is somewhat slow by modern standards, which can lead to slight latency. It has a hexaphonic pickup to capture each string separately, giving more nuanced control over the synth sounds.

Left Handed. Includes non-original trem arm. Does not come with GR-707 module.
