The Modern T-Style bridge pickup, a variation on the Gatton model, is tailored for modern country and rock players seeking a fuller bridge tone while retaining the authentic Tele sound and feel. The T-Neck pickup, used in both the Gatton and Modern T-Style sets, can be adjusted to match the bridge pickup's output, eliminating the usual gap between bridge and neck levels. Although these pickups offer higher output than stock models, they still preserve the classic Tele twang and snap. The unique “staggered-blade” design in both Gatton and Modern bridge pickups ensures balanced response across the outer strings, making them ideal for the instrument that defined the solid-body electric guitar.
JBE T-Style pickups are compatible with standard Tele body routs and require no modifications. Each T-Style pickup set includes high-quality 4-conductor shielded cable, treble bleed and tone capacitors, mounting hardware, and wiring diagrams.
