Xaoc Devices Lublin [ˈlublin] is a premium dual VCA module featuring exponential CV inputs. Each of its two identical channels includes additional inputs designed for pinging. These inputs utilize a sophisticated analog circuit that simulates the dynamic behavior of vactrols, enabling you to trigger a nuanced gain response that mirrors the natural decay of plucked and struck acoustic instruments. Unlike typical lowpass gate modules, Lublin reduces gain while preserving the full frequency spectrum, making it ideal for harmonically rich signals such as our Odessa additive VCO. The vactrol-like behavior serves as a foundation, with the envelope offering adjustable characteristics via a switch (for natural, shortened, or prolonged responses) and a potentiometer, so you're not limited to a single decay style. This flexibility allows you to create not only bongo-like sounds but also deep, compressed kicks. Additionally, the integrated gain control circuit (which saturates the CV rather than the audio signal) prevents distortion from excessive amplification. Lublin is DC-coupled, meaning it can process both CV and audio signals.
