This pickup is a faithful reproduction of the original old 1959 "Patent Applied For" humbucker, with smooth, warm tone and plentiful sustain. Uses the same Alnico magnets, plain enamelled wire, braided single-conductor hookup cable, nickel plating studs, wooden spacer, black paper tape and balanced coil windings as on the original model.
The neck and bridge models are individually calibrated for an even volume volume balance. This pickup is direct replacement and requires no guitar modification.
Comes in original box, with wiring schematic and mounting screws included.
