1974 Gibson SG Standard in gorgeous, deep Cherry finish & in original condition. Cherry finish is still very glossy over incredibly resonant mahogany body with one of the most gorgeous ebony neck's we've seen!
An absolute rock machine, this SG is lightweight (3.5kg / 7.71lbs) and equipped with the original Tarbacks (Super Humbuckers) which provide excellent clarity and enough mid-range grunt that balances the sound perfectly. Original Schaller-made hardware and harmonica bridge paired with block inlays really brings the 70s vibe home.
70s SGs are a must for any aspiring Rock-Dog or Doom Lord that wants to capture the magic heard in those massive chords played by the likes of Ian MacKaye, Adalita, Angus Young & plenty more and scarcely available these days in the SG Standard platform, especially in cherry as the majority that were made were only available in the more widley seen walnut natural - even rarer to find a '70s Lefty with no breaks either!
