Ultra Rare Original 1960s VOX Mark VI featuring the iconic teardrop hollowbody shape that Brian Jones from The Rolling Stones' was based on in sunburst with chrome trim featuring 3 x EKO single coil pickups (ultra high fidelity personality on these), 3-way switch and metal-tooled knobs.
The double bound body is paired off with a bound half-'n'-half cat-eye/F-style soundhole on the top bout. Featuring a slim bound maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and rare 'Mark VI Acoustic' decal as opposed to the more commonly seen 'VOX' logo on the headcap.
Made in Italy by EKO for VOX UK.
Some classic Italo-VOX lacquer checking but overall in fantastic condition for its age. Re-fretted at some stage, and vibrato mounting screw (and possibly arm) has been replaced. Includes original tear-drop case with gold lining, and VOX owner's card.
