The D-28 is the Dreadnought by which all others are judged. Constructed of solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top and mahogany neck, this instrument has been a favourite of artists from Hank Williams Sr. to Jimmy Page. Massive bass response balanced with articulate highs makes this a benchmark acoustic guitar and a must-have for any guitarist. Made in Nazareth, USA.

In fantastic condition; this D-28 has never seen a neck reset so the action is low to medium with little room left in the original saddle. The neck is straight with no signs of bridge-lift and no bellying up.

Plenty of fret life left in the original frets with all features on the guitar original aside from a retrofitted K&K passive pickup that sounds fantastic.

Some vary minor pickguard lift (these old celluloid guards tend to lift over time as the material shrinks faster than the finish on the guitar itself). It has been glued prior to sale and once before in its past It does not affect sound or function. Just a bit of mojo.
