All things considered, this ultra-rare parlour (c. 1890-1920) plays beautifully. The guitar has obviously 'seen some action' (having survived probably BOTH of the big wars), but has a comfortable action and sturdy hardware/construction. It has solid oak back and sides and, at some stage in it's at least century-long life, was upgraded with a non-floating bridge and a pickup. It has a gorgeous tone and a striking look, so why not gather 'round the fireplace with the whole family (not too close, obviously), and sing a ballad?
Upgraded with non-floating bridge.
