The PR8E is an 8 channel mic/line preamp, meticulously crafted with state-of-the-art components and completely redesigned from scratch, the PR8E boasts an exceptionally low noise preamp with a remarkably high gain structure.
Versatile and adaptable, the PR8E is tailor-made to accommodate a wide range of applications. It serves as an ideal front-end device for various hard disk recording systems, while also enhancing digital mixers and sound cards by adding extra mic preamps.
Each preamp on the PR8E is equipped with its own XLR/TRS jack "Combo" input connector, a 48V phantom power switch for the mic preamp, and a built-in -20dB pad in the 1/4 (6.5mm) TRS output sockets on the rear panel. The PR8E is encased in a rugged steel chassis and comes with rack mounting panels.
Each mic-pre can provide up to 60dB of gain and a maximum output of 23dB. However, the most important aspect is the sound quality, and the PR8E has been specifically designed to deliver exceptional sound quality, surpassing other devices in its class.
