Early 1920s Washburn Model 1915 parlour guitar featuring a small body build with solid spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides, nice V-shaped neck that is subtle and fits well in the hand, slotted headstock.
Made in USA.
Some small purfling missing from the rosette. Bridge has been replaced with a moustache style as opposed to the original pyramid bridge however this repair has been done long ago and only just starting to lift. Incredibly minor belly below bridge and a small split in bookmatch of top has started to appear however once again, seems incredibly minor and stable.
Dead straight neck with very low action; this 100 year old Washburn has been freshly setup prior to sale with Newtone UK 10-46 gauge strings with low tension to preserve this instrument and it's incredible playability for its age.
