From the first year of production for the American Vintage series from Fender, a '57 Reissue Precision Bass neck all the way back from 1982.
This one has a very nice shallow D-shape neck, not fat at all but in fact rather slim but with a wide nut for precise fingering.
In excellent condition with zero fret-wear and hardly a mark on it. Truss rod is functioning perfectly with plenty of margin each way.
Dated 13th of August 1982. Made in the Fullerton Factory (the original Fender factory) to the exact specs as the original 1957 Fenders - same workshop, same tools, same specs.
Unused condition. Zero fretwear and nut slots have not been cut for bass. Most likely a replacement neck sent from Fender that was never bolted on to a guitar!
