Almost a complete reissue of a 1966 Jazzmaster, the AO Series JM from Fender incorporates some of the best bits of Offsets past with this unique solid alder bodied Jazzmaster, loaded with a celluloid tortoiseshell guard, wax potted Pure Vintage 65 JM single coils for an authentic transition era-tone, CTS 1M pots, AVRI Vibrato, beautifully bound rosewood fingerboard with tall vintage frets (this time with a 9.5" radius for accessible playing all around the fretboard on a maple neck with accurate 1960s profile that fits the hand perfectly (this neck in particular has some unique spalt) and a gorgeous all nitro finish that will age and wear in time just like the original 1960s models - if you don't baby it like the original owner certainly has!
In the quintessential (and somewhat rare) Olympic White & Tortoiseshell colourway that was exclusive to the year 2018 - this guitar in particular is a mean, lightweight machine that is fully fully set-up with a now rare and incredibly stable Staytrem (Made in UK) bridge that matches the instrument's 9.5" radius which are now almost unobtanium here in Australia. The ultimate bridge for any offset fan that wants to fix all the issues found in the original bridge design.
Fender's flagship model at the time. Made in the Corona Factory, USA.
Includes original G&G brown tolex case with gold velvet lining and all case candy.
Fully setup with D'Addario EXL110 (10-46) & Staytrem bridge prior to sale. Modified with amber switch tip & vibrato plate screws have been reversed - thanks Puisheen!
