Gorgeous Yairi (one of the good ones) Dreadnought featuring solid spruce soundboard that is tap tuned, planed and sanded by hand for maximum resonance, rosewood back and sides (very much so like a D-35 yet retaining the real glitz & glamour of the D-45), bound rosewood body featuring 25.5" scale, 15" radius, snowflake inlays and unique V-shape neck that feels like a true extension from the M-style volute at the headstock, rosewood bridge, bone nut and saddle with gold Gotoh tuners.
These guitars are made almost entirely by hand, shaped and carved the old fashioned way. From the bracing to the rosette, all the intricate inlays, even the bridge!
Incredibly balanced across all strings as most K. Yairi's are - this is one of the fullest ones we've heard.
These guitars, although are often said being Martin copies, are built to last with an adjustable truss rod, hardy polyester finish
Slight belly behind bridge. Some marks and scratches as pictured. Includes non original case.
