Tiptop Audio’s Buchla 259t Programmable Complex Waveform Generator brings Buchla’s innovative approach to the endless possibilities of Eurorack synths. It features a dual-oscillator design, with a Principal and Modulation oscillator. The Principal oscillator can be tweaked via CV to produce anything from sine and square waves to a huge range of complex waveforms using the Timbre and Harmonics section. The Modulation oscillator can switch between LFO and audio-rate modes. Both oscillators can be controlled via standard 1-volt/octave CV or Tiptop’s unique ART signal format.
The 259t is packed with complexity – from multiple modulation waveshapes, CV and FM inputs, phase locking, Gate outputs, and per-oscillator outputs, to controls for amplitude, pitch, and timbre modulation. It offers endless creative possibilities both within the module itself and in combination with other gear.
