
A rare piece estimated to be made sometime in the late '70s by master luthier Ryoji Matsuoka before his son Toshiaki began to make this model in the '80s. The M40 model was part of the Concert series of guitars that Matsuoka produced between 1975 and 1981, featuring a solid cedar top, laminated rosewood back & sides, rosewood fretboard and mahogany neck, rosewood bridge, bone nut & saddle and gold lyre tuning machines. Scale length is 652 mm and nut width comes in at 52 mm.
Includes hard case and foot rest.
