Rare and collectible mid '70s Roland Phase Five 6-stage phaser Pedal. In reality, it's more like a Leslie rotating cabinet simulator than a traditional phaser; an intoxicating mix of swirling gloopy modulation that will make your grandparents blush. The Touch Control knob in which the speed is determined by the strength of the input signal, and as the signal decays, the speed is reduced. The second “Continuous Control” mode has the a consistent rate with a fixed fast & slow speed regardless of signal strength.
This pedal has been modified for convenient always-on operation due to the intermittent unobtanium power switch. It functions exactly as intended, with the power switch bypassed so the effect is immediately active when powered.
