The Guild Orpheum 12-Fret Dreadnought is a rare slope-shoulder beauty from Guild’s now-discontinued Orpheum Series, handbuilt in New Hartford under the direction of master luthier Ren Ferguson. Inspired by 1930s pre-war acoustics, it features a 12-fret neck joint and a wide lower bout for full, blooming lows and focused highs. The Adirondack top and mahogany body deliver dry, woody tone with just enough sparkle to cut through a mix—perfect for fingerpickers and folk stylists. Discontinued in 2014, these are highly prized for their responsiveness, resonance, and timeless build quality.
