Forget the face, here's the whole head.
The Keeley Fuzz Head is a hybrid fuzz that uses both Silicon and Germanium goodness for the clipping. Featuring controls for Fuzz, and well.. Head.. a switch to go between silicon and germanium modes which offer vastly different tones. Excellent clean up with the volume knob, the silicon mode can go to blooming sizzle that Jimi was going for in '69 however the heart of this pedal is the Germanium mode. Utilising a NOS transistor this one packs a real punch!
*Keep in mind, these early '60s fuzz pedals that the Fuzz Head pays homage to, often has very, very low gain. Not nearly as fuzzy as what one might hear on your favourite record. The secret is to play these typs of fuzz pedals through already distorted amplifiers that are well on their way to cookin'! Don't expect the madness that ensued at Monterey through your Fender Twin. If you're dead-set on playing through a clean amp for the headroom - it's recommended that you place the Keeley Fuzz Head _t the front an 'always on' overdrive - especially if it's an 'Amp-In-The-Box' type.
