The Yamaha MG12 is a compact mixer suitable for various applications like performances, recordings, and lectures. It offers twelve simultaneous inputs, including four mono mic/line combo inputs, two stereo line inputs that can function as mono mic or line inputs, and two stereo line inputs with 1/4" and RCA jacks.
Each of the first eight channels is equipped with D-PRE mic preamps, 3-band EQ, pan control, and a high pass filter. These preamps feature 48V phantom power for condenser microphones and 26dB attenuation switches for handling loud sources like guitar amplifiers and drums.
The mixer provides XLR and TRS stereo outs for connection to PA systems or monitor speakers, a 1/4" headphone output with level control for personal monitoring, and additional TRS 1/4" stereo monitor outs for sending to powered speakers, amplifiers, or digital recorders.
