The Catalinbread Wake serves up an additive chorus effect that plays well as an “always-on” tonal thickener with a twist. A clean octave down circuit runs parallel to the chorus engine and is independently mixable for even more added depth. Unlike many choruses that stand out in the mix, the Wake shakes hands with your other pedals and amp for seamless integration.
Mood is something the Wake has a lot of, from wide-ranging rate and depth controls to a mix knob that imparts a gentle pitch vibrato. New to the chorus world is the implementation of a mixable octave-down control that adds a new dimension of depth without impeding the musicality.
