A fuzz lovers dream, the Elektrika TBMKI is a faithful yet updated clone of the original Solasound Tone Bender MKI featuring controls for Volume, Gain, Tone with noise Gate. The “Gate” control lets you dial in that unique “choppy” or “fizzy” sound typical of vintage MK1 units, or turn the gate up higher to increase sustain and smooth the tone.
Additionally the Elektrika features a switch to change from Tone Bender MKI to Zonk Machine. Germanium transistors keep this pedal true to vintage tone, and an analog voltage inverter allows a modern standard +9vDC connection so you can share a standard power supply with your other pedals (however battery snap inside is included).
Each Elektrika utilises a combination of EU manufactured ACY26, 2N1305, 2N1307, & 2N1309as well as Soviet military grade germanium transistors (MP series).
