The Norns Shield from Monone is a DIY Circuit which turns a standard Raspberry Pi Circuit into a Monome Norns 'many sound instrument'.
Norns is a small, portable, open-source sound computer that dynamically runs scripts and DSP (Digital Signal Processing) allowing you to achieve a multitude of capabilities such as: * sample-cutting * polysynthesis * algorithmic drum machine * drone box * granulator * asynchronous looper * polyphasic sequencer
Running off of Lua-based scripts, you can program every control on the Norns Shield as well as any connected devices. The Norns also offers connection with MIDI Devices, USB-CV interfaces, networked OSC & more. MID
