ROLI's Seaboard RISE 25 MIDI controller is a unique instrument that brings you the future of the keyboard. Its soft “keywave” surface lets you individually tweak the sound of each note you play as on an acoustic instrument such as a guitar or flute. RISE comes with its own soft-synth, Equator, that works with ROLI's free NOISE app for iPhone and iPad, as well as the majority of popular music-making software apps. The Seaboard RISE is sensitive to five dimensions of touch - strike, press, glide, slide and lift - so you can use each of these gestures to control a different aspect of sound. This allows you to create faster, to more realistically simulate acoustic instruments and to do things in a live performance that were only previously possible in the studio.
