75th Anniversary Limited Edition of the most heralded of electric pianos - the legendary Fender Rhodes. Only 75 units were made.
This unique model is the result of a collaboration between Rhodes' Chief Product Officer Dan Goldman and the renowned industrial designer Axel Hartmann.
The MK8/75AE features all the classic additions to the Rhodes legacy that the standard issue MK8 does such as a VCA analog compressor, low-noise analogue stereo bucket brigade-style delay (that can self oscillate!), chorus and phaser - as well as a very clever pre-amp based on the original MKII with vibrato with tri-band (low/mid/high) active equaliser (+/- 15db range), voltage-controlled, resonant mids filter & vari-pan circuit (vibrato) with variable rate/depth with 4 wave shapes & audio-rate modulation.
The piano features a sleek, dark matte finish with gold-accented controls and encasement, adding an extra layer of sophistication and exclusivity. Each unit of this limited edition series encapsulates the essence of Rhodes’ 75-year history, combining vintage charm with modern engineering precision. It's if like Darth Vader owned a Rhodes!
