The Fender Contemporary Stratocaster, produced in Japan by FujiGen Gakki from 1984 to 1989, is known for its versatility and advanced features. Designed as Superstrats in a number of configurations, the 27-4302 features 3 single-coil pickups, and a Fender Schaller vibrato system and locking nut. Featuring a “D” profile neck, a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a 25.5" scale length; these models were the first Fender Japan guitars exported as Fender Stratocasters, marking a significant period during the CBS transition of Fender ownership.
Schaller Loaded from Factory! Vibrato system cavity looks like it has had some aftermarket routing done, but playability and functionality across the board is top-notch.
