Due to its long scale of 28.5″ / 720mm the Verso Instruments baritone guitar features a precise and gritty bass response in standard B to B or A to A tunings. The extra length brings a distinctive warmth and accuracy to the upper strings rounded off with lots of sustain.
Due to the steel body the freely movable pickups catch up audible body resonance that adds natural harmonics and a wooden character. A richness that goes beyond the usual tone of a electric baritone. That being said the natural microphonic effect is less pronounced than on Cosmo wich makes it even more suitable to distorted sounds.
