The Colortone Parasite is a JFET based overdrive that utilises active tone controls for maximum versatility. At mild settings the Parasite can be used as a preamp-style 'always on' pedal adding a touch of light dirt and sparkle but when cranked for more saturation, tubelike compression and harmonic complexity comes in abundance. Featuring handmatched JFETs locked away in Colortone's enclosure with etched faceplate and signature brushed aluminium nut on footswitch.
