Subharmonicon From Moog is a semi-modular polyrhythmic analogue synthesiser designed for the experimentation of rhythms that evolve over the sequence, twisting through six-tone subharmonic chords and organic polyrhythms.    It's unique approach to music-making is inspired by the innovative ideas on electronic instruments and experimental music that emerged during the 1930s and 1940s. Combining music and mathematics, these early avant-algorithmic concepts laid a foundation for our modern exploratory practices. (See Joseph Schillinger, Oskar Sala, and Leon Theremin)   Subharmonicon is capable of complex sounds and patterns, with a simple and intuitive user interface. Featuring 2x VCOs, 4x Subharmonic Oscillators, 2x 4-Step Sequencers, and 4x Rhythm Generators, Subharmonicon creates a rich harmonic kaleidoscope that divides into itself until everything is turned on its head.
