There are a few iconic valve guitar amps that the team at Mozztronics adore. Apart from the British 800 series amps, and the AC30, the other is an American 59 bass amp loved by guitarists for the breakup when the amp is cranked. This amp is very similar to the Tonemaster made by the same company, and Mozztronics have used a combination of these two amps as the basis for their solid state foot-switchable pedal, which is called the “ToneMeister”. This pedal is not a dirt pedal as such, it’s an emulation of these classic amps.
To do full justice to the original amp, and to get the maximum in tone versatility they included the full 3 knob tone stack. A single tone control, wasn’t going to cut it with this pedal.
GAIN controls the amount of gain from the first stage, BASS, MID and TREBLE are a classic 3 knob tone stack as found in the ’59 and Tonemaster amps. VOLUME adjusts the overall volume out of the pedal
